In the green hills and pristine Maremma Toscana is the farm “Poggio al Vento. This is a family-run farm. To receive guests will find the brothers Cesare and Barbara Agostini, who decided to promote the family business while continuing to practice traditional crops such as cereals, vines and olive trees, but also renovating the existing houses in which they were born and bred grandfather and father. Thus created for the hosts of four apartments of various sizes from which you can enjoy a unique view, and an ancient farmhouse renovated keeping the typical characteristics of rural Tuscany.
The farm “Poggio al Vento is located in a corner of paradise, both the landscape and existing vegetation, both for all the animals that inhabit the area and you can see coming by car or while walking. In fact guests of the company in addition to a guaranteed rest can go hiking or biking, surrounded by unspoilt nature or relax by the pool. There are also in the garden, children’s games such as ping-pong, swing, table and field facilities for football and basketball.
The company’s position is ideal for both the sea and the mountains, the Natural Park of Maremma, Terme di Saturnia, and to visit the Etruscan ruins of Roselle and Vetulonia and medieval towns of Sovana and Pitigliano.
There are also numerous local festivals during the spring, summer and autumn. Guests can also enjoy our wine and extra virgin olive oil.
